In memory of our beloved Chairman, Shri Shashi Ruia, Essar Foundation hosted a special Christmas celebration for 100 slum children, held on December 29, 2024, at Borivali, Mumbai. The event, organised by Upasana Kalavidyalay under the banner of St. Francis Institute of Management and Research, aimed to bring joy and festive cheer to children from underprivileged backgrounds.
The celebration included a variety of festive activities, with lively music, fun games, and engaging performances by the children themselves. The performances brought smiles to everyone’s faces as the kids showcased their talents, and the games added an element of joy and excitement to the celebration, creating a memorable experience for all.
Shri Shashi Ruia’s legacy of compassion and his commitment to social responsibility continue to inspire Essar Foundation’s community initiatives. Upasana Kalavidyalay plays a crucial role in uplifting individuals by providing skill development programs in English, Computers, Tailoring, Screen Printing, Sign Board Painting, and Drawing, empowering them with valuable tools for a better future.
