Essar Foundation is proud to announce its adoption of Sai Aadhar Ashram in Bhatani Village, Palghar District, with the support of Essar Energy Transition Fuels. This partnership is part of our ongoing commitment to uplifting underprivileged and marginalized communities.
Sai Aadhar Ashram is home to 42 orphaned children, many of whom were rescued from the streets, with some facing special needs and challenges. The Ashram is run by Vishal Parulekar and his wife, who work tirelessly to provide shelter, food, and care for the children. Despite facing financial constraints, the Parulekars ensure that every child is enrolled in school, believing that education is the key to a better future.
Over the past year, Essar Foundation has extended its support to the Ashram in a number of ways. These include providing essential resources like bunk beds for the children, constructing sanitary toilets to improve hygiene, and regularly supplying food rations to ensure proper nutrition. We have also conducted health camps to address the children’s well-being and established a beauty parlour for two young girls who recently completed their 12th grade, empowering them to build a brighter future.
Recently, Essar Foundation representatives Dominic Dsouza and Tej Singh Barwa visited the Ashram, spending quality time with the children and further strengthening our bond with this noble cause. With continued support from Essar Energy Transition Fuels, we remain committed to improving the lives of these children by providing them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
Together, we are making a significant impact, offering hope and a better future to these young lives in need.
