Donates clothes, toys and essentials to Jay Janardan Swami Orphanage, Lasalgaon, Nashik
Essar Foundation has always been leading from the front when it comes to society and community uplift. The Foundation has always come forward to help people and specially children with their education, health and other needs from time to time.
Diwali is the perfect occasion to bring smile and spread happiness across the society. Extending the Diwali festivities, Essar Foundation conducted a donation drive at Essar House, Mumbai from 11th to 29th October 2021 for ‘Jay Janardan Swami Orphanage Lasalgaon, Nashik’.
Essarites generously donated essentials such as (clothes, toys, school bags, blankets etc) along with cash donations. There were around 25 cartons, which were handed over to Shri Dilip Babura Gunjal, Managing Trustee of Jay Janardan Swami Orphanage on 30th October 2021 by the Foundation’s representative Ms. Payal Chhabra.
Mr. Gunjal thanked Essar Foundation for its continuous support and donation towards the orphanage. He conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to the Essar employees for their support in enhancing the living conditions and bringing in a ray of hope and sparkle of Diwali to the orphaned children. The Foundation team also provided every child with a goody bag consisting of sweets, snacks and soft drink. One of the employees gifted the children with new school bag, which brought smiles on the faces of the children. With the winter setting in, one of the employee had donated several new blankets, which was highly appreciated.
Essar Foundation has a rich heritage of 50 years of service Pan-India; in health, education, livelihood, women empowerment, sports, environment and infrastructure. The Foundation has always stood by the nation in every emergency, be it Covid-19, floods, famine or drought.
